NEW CONNEXIONAL YEAR
The first two Sundays in September are being led by our minister, Rev Christopher Jones. The first is a Holy Communion service and the following week is our Harvest Festival. We hope volunteers will, as in the past, arrange any donations given for the Harvest Celebrations, which will then be taken to Trussell Trust Food Bank to help local families in crisis.
From letter responses that have been received regarding the Encounter half-hour of prayer in the middle of the week; this seems to have reached a natural end and therefore, there will not be any more Encounter services. Thank you to those that have been supportive over the past 12 years that it has run. These services provided a platform for in-depth debates afterwards, which we all found helpful in our Christian thinking.
From September, Rev Christopher Jones will be taking pastoral responsibility for Woodfalls within the Circuit.
New Circuit Preaching Plans for September to November 2016 are now available in the front vestibule
There will be no Encounter in August due to the thanksgiving service for Cliff Le Page.
